Borgo di Matraia
The Antico Borgo di Matraia is an enchanting complex that was born in the early 1500s as Fattoria Matraia, as an annexe to the summer residence of the noble Guinigi family, Lords of Lucca. It originated from the various agricultural outbuildings and settlers' dwellings such as the oil mill, stables, barn, warehouse and cellars.
The Borgo Antico has now been subdivided into beautiful fully restored individual apartments fully equipped with all the comforts including many with private outdoor gardens.
Surrounded by greenery and nature, your stay will be one of total harmony between modern and ancient structures. Among the shared outdoor spaces, in addition to the beautiful park there is also a panoramic terrace with a swimming pool equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, where you can admire a breathtaking view over the Lucca valley.Private parking is also available for guests.

The main feature of this apartment is the wonderful view over the Lucca valley and its panoramic swimming pool. A large equipped outdoor area allows you to fully enjoy the breathtaking view and the surrounding nature. Located in the ancient village, on two levels, this apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. On the ground floor you will find the fully equipped kitchen with an electric cooktop, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher and a guest bathroom with shower and washing machine. In addition to this is the comfortable living area with a stone fireplace, sofa bed, and comfortable dining table.
The original stone staircase leads to the first floor, where there is the large double bedroom and the double bedroom with single beds, each with private bathroom and shower.
